Three ways make this trip; here is the honest math on each — no sales pitch until you've seen the numbers.

Take the Aerobús if you're solo or a couple, travelling light, staying near Plaça Catalunya, Urquinaona or Plaça Espanya, and it's daytime. It's genuinely good — frequent, luggage-friendly, card payment.
Take a taxi if you're 1-3 people, in a hurry, and comfortable with a meter that climbs in traffic and night/airport supplements. From T2 add a few minutes.
Take a private transfer if any of these apply: family with kids and car seats; cruise passenger with luggage and a sailing time; group of 4-7 with bags (one V-Class €65 beats two taxis); arriving late-night when you just want a name board and a set price; or you simply don't want to think after a flight.
L9 Sud connects both terminals to the network (€5.50 airport supplement) but requires a change (Zona Universitària) to reach the center — 45+ minutes with stairs and escalators. It wins only for backpackers and budget purists.
